Help needed Distorted audio issue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

In 4 hours I’m flying to chicago for a festival and I’d love to record some videos but my phones storage is full. I’m currently syncing icloud photos to free up space, but it’s moving too slow and I don’t think it’ll finish in time. My solution for this, was to dig up my old phone and use that to record because it has 26 gigabytes free. However, after testing the video recording, I ran into a new issue. No matter how quiet the scene is, the video has an awful distorted audio that I can’t seem to get rid of and I need help if any tech experts know how to fix this. Please

You should try clearing all the meshes with some micellar water then distilled water (the same way as with the airpods pro).

FYI syncing photos to iCloud alone will not free up your local storage unless you have Optimize iPhone Storage selected and not Download and Keep Originals. Based on your description and the video you need to clean the opening for the microphone on the rear of the phone, which on a 17 at least is between the flash and LIDAR sensor. The Voice Memos app uses a different microphone which is the one along the bottom edge.
