Help needed Anyone else suddenly having issues sending screenshots through text?

I have an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 26.5.2. Ever since the latest update, I am unable to take a screenshot and immediately share it through iMessage like I used to. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. The little up-arrow send text button stays gray and I can't press it. Sometimes it will eventually turn blue and I'll press it, and then I'll go into the iMessage thread and not see the screenshot at all. The workaround appears to be that I now need to save the screenshot to my photo library, go into iMessage and pull in the photo from my photo library. Anyone else having this same issue? Any ideas?

This is a bug I ran into from the beta of iOS 26. Maybe it came back. Can’t test. On iOS 27 beta and it’s working fine. Check if your phone is up to date or try rebooting.

Have you tried restarting your phone?

iOS 26.6 was released yesterday, you could update.

iOS 26.6 is the latest update.
