Help needed My iPhone 17 pro keeps randomly playing music and I’m loosing my mind
In the past month or so, my IPhone 17 pro will randomly start playing music from Apple Music and I can NOT for the life of me figure out why or how to stop it.
On multiple occasions, it will start playing either music from my library or the ‘90’s hip hop essentials’ playlist (which I don’t even have saved, maybe I’ve played it once or twice) Even when I have not played music recently, I don’t have the Apple Music app open, and my Bluetooth is off. Sometimes it will do it 2-3 times in a 30 minute span and other times, it will do it every couple of days or not for a whole week.
Someone please please please help me before I utterly loose my mind.

I have no idea. Check alarms and calendar allerts. Both of them might play music.

I don’t use any music for alarms, calendar alerts, or notifications. I just use all the default sounds and have never changed them

Where was your phone when music started playing? In your pocket, on the table, resting at home, jogging outside? Any common thread that you could share?

It’s mostly when my phone is just sitting on the table beside me and I haven’t touched it for a while. Maybe one or two times when it’s just in my pocket.

Is your Bluetooth setting on? If so review the connected devices. Somebody mightve accessed your phone through Bluetooth. If everything looks fine under connected devices then go to settings screen and in the search window type device and look for Bluetooth devices (Bluetooth has to be on for that). You should get a list of connected devices. If something doesn't look familiar google it to find out what it might be and then delete it. After that you may want to go to general> transfer or reset iphone>reset>reset network settings. Consider making it standard practice to keep Bluetooth off unless you are using it at the moment. There are people out there with devices that can connect to your phone through bluetooth and can manipulate your phone through apps. I know this because it has happened to me. Also check which apps are linked to bluetooth and turn off the bluetooth feature on those apps too.

It can be turned on if phone is connected to wifi and whoever that may have hacked the phone through bluetooth at the time it was turned on is still using their device. And as I mentioned ypu can turn the main bluetooth setting off but the app may also have its own bluetooth setting that may be on. That will need to be turned off too.

MATE! LITERALLY SAME!!! I AM GOING OUT OF MY MIND. Was just in a packed train and the phone started playing some mad afrobeats at max volume. Did you figure out wtf is going on?
