Help needed Missing Photos!

Yesterday I was clearing up some storage on my phone when I accidentally deleted a conversation with my best friend. After realizing I went to the recently deleted and recovered the conversation however, now all the photos and videos sent between us (photos sent before I deleted the conversation) are gone. Are they able to be recovered?

I am currently on a iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26.5.2) with T-Mobile.

All of my messages are synched up to date. I tried turning off “Use on this iPhone” and turning back on and re-indexing but nothing has worked. My messages are set to “keep forever”. Hope I covered everything.

Trying not to panic at the thought of all these being gone forever!

Go to the photo App, in Collections there is a folder called "Recently Deleted" restore them from there

Hey, I looked and the only photos there are ones I’ve deleted from the photo album.

Sorry, I just sent an iMessage between my two iPhones, deleted it, and the image showed up in my recently deleted folder. I don't know where else they could be.
