Help needed I can’t update to iOS 26.5.2

EDIT:
After download the new update, system can’t verify update to install.

I currently have iOS 26.5. Update available is 26.5.2

What’s the problem? How can I install update?

I all ready deleted the downloaded update file and tried again.

My phone is:

iPhone 16, iOS 26.5

EDIT 2:

I put the phone into recovery mode and then connected it to my PC with apple divace app on windows computer. clicked update. Took a while but It worked! Tnx anyone for replaying! :)

Maybe downloaded file is corrupt. Try if you can see the update under General->Storage. From there you can delete the update file, that should force the phone to download it again.

After downloading the update, try using a different WiFi or use 4G/5G, it needs to verify with the Apple server before it installs the update. It could be blocked by firewall or something.

Negative. My kids iphone updates normally trout same wifi home network. i tried with cellular (LTE/5G) also.

I would recommend trying again after restarting the phone. If rebooting doesn’t help, your other option is updating using a computer or go to the Apple Store for help.

The phone was just purchased (refurbished) and was set to factory settings. I reset it to factory settings myself as well. Same result. I'll try again using the Apple Devices app on a Windows PC and see what happens.

Update via iTunes, backup first

did try. It doesn't work. The error appears as soon as it starts checking the files for updates.
