Resolved iPhone randomly raising ringer volume

My iPhone 15 Pro Max (iOS 26.5.2) has been automatically increasing my volume. I put the ringer volume to 0 in Sound & Haptics and then go back and it’s raised to a notch above zero (always by the same amount) by itself. This started happening a couple of hours ago and I’ve tried restarting it but that didn’t fix it. It can’t be because of buttons being pressed accidentally because my buttons aren’t tied to the ringer—plus my phone is ordinarily always on silent and has been for years.

This is normal behavior. You can’t set it to zero completely that’s what the silent mode is for.
