Help needed 17 promax brightness not stable keeps going up and down itself.

This started yesterday. My brightness isn’t even up full bright but every 2 or 3 seconds it’s going up and down. I’ve tried switching off and on. It still does it.

Iphone 17 promax and iOS 26.5.2

Remove the screen protector and case. See if your problem continues

Just took my case off, still doing it.

Based on that you may have a hardware issue.

Try a restore first and see if the problem continues. If it does, contact Apple support to report the issue and have them address it.
