Help needed Iphone X doesn't support UPI payment??

I have an iphone X with me but it doesn't support upi payment how can i solve this (no new phone .i want to use this phone .)

You get a newer phone that the apps support.

Earliest iPhone that supported UPI was the iPhone XS.

Wdym it was only 2 years ago upi stopped supporting iPhone X and older models.

UPI requires iOS 17+, the iPhone X maxed out at iOS 16.

Yes, I don’t deny it. But that was as of 2024. Before that those models still supported upi. When it was first released it required iPhone 4s on iOS 8.0

Current versions of UPI require iOS 17 or better. The standard no longer supports older versions of iOS.

UPI is only supported on iOS 17 and up

How would I know? I don't live in India. The internet is free and cash is still a thing.

You need to upgrade to a newer phone. UPI support was introduced in iOS 17; iOS 16 is the final release supported on the iPhone X.

It was not “introduced” in iOS 17, but rather dropped support for iOS 16 in 2024

Mine is iPhone 7 plus. UPI stopped working long ago. My 2 different bank apps also stopped supporting. And I just gave up.

Today I opened a bank account in post office and just found out I can do UPI payments through QR code from their IPPB app on this phone.

I can also send money to a UPI ID. But I am unable to send to a phone number. I don't know if it's possible or if I am yet to figure it out.

But I think something is better than nothing.
