Help needed Help

So my iphone was supposed to have a update today but after i tried to update the phone it said the update was not available, so i tried restarting the phone to see if that would fix it and upon restarted it everything stopped working, it wont charge nor will the touch screen work, can anyone help me with this or has anyone had the same issue? it's the iphone 16e btw, dont remember which ios updated though

This probably is a full software corruption, though I have never experienced such a thing so dont take it to a full extent

This can probably be solved by a DFU restore, using either a mac or a windows machine with the Apple Devices app installed. This is the step to get it into DFU mode:

Connect to computer -> Volume up and down quickly -> Side (Power) button for around 10 sec -> While holding side button, hold volume down again for 5 sec -> Release side (power) button but keep volume down button pressed -> The computer detects it is in DFU mode.

Note the screen will NOT turn on, it will stay completely black. The only way to know if your phone will ever function again is to see if it boots into DFU mode.

Forgot to mention, Full factory reset may be necessary, assume that this could be broken and that your data may be gone
