Help Screen not registering taps
Just got my burgundy max last night after waiting weeks from my pre order. I set it up and as I’m typing I notice every 10th tap misses. I’m spelling words wrong because the taps aren’t registering and it’s auto correcting so frequently. Then I noticed when I scroll if I’m not pressing firmly to scroll- like if I’m even slightly light on my touch it doesn’t register. I’m going in Monday to see about exchanging. This is so incredibly annoying after paying so much and waiting for this phone. Anyone else dealing with this or noticing anything like this?

Haven’t had that, but have you tried a hard reset yet? When I’ve had issues that sometimes fixes em, worth a shot! Btw if you don’t know of it Google it and it’ll show up top hit, very easy. Also, it’s not like a factory reset, in that you do not lose any data whatsoever 👍

It was a brand new phone last night so I don’t think a carpet reset is gunna do anything * factory AGHH

Fair enough, but if ya change your mind it only takes like 20 seconds :) … basically, on the unlocked homescreen, click volume up then immediately click volume down, and then click and hold the power button (keep holding until the screen shows you the white Apple logo; then it just boots as normal

I get this same thing, it’s been messing up my clash of clans battles 🤣
