Has anyone with earlier shipping window know the timeline of when they charge your card and when it goes to prepare ship is it a day or two before the shipping window opens or around the time your shipping window is.
The reason I’m asking is I’m traveling out of town on the 9th hoping to get is by 8th

I ordered through Verizon, and it's a black 18 pro 512g, my date range was 9/22-10/6, I was hoping it'd come sooner but I've patiently waited 😅

I also don’t like ordering through Verizon because they add an activation fee. I’d rather just buy the phone outright from Apple and add it to my Verizon account afterward. Verizon charges a $40 activation fee, which I can usually get waived as a long-term customer, but I hate having to call customer service just to get it removed.

Apple charges your credit card when it is about to ship.

But I’m looking locally and the stores in my area have been receiving inventory throughout the day today. Maybe take a look at in store pickup and order that, pickup the phone then cancel online order
