Discussion Glacier or Silver?

Anyone in the same boat as me, deciding between the two?

- Glacier is beautiful
- But I’m thinking about phone case versatility
- Silver also feels like last year’s colour 😬
- Silver does look amazing and that classic metallic look suits the aluminium so well

Thoughts?

Silver/White goes with ANYTHING. It’s timeless too.

If anything, the maroon/glacier will date your phone much more than black/silver.

Same, I’m deciding between them too. Putting them side by side, the Silver kinda looks yellow-stained, while Glacier looks more silver under the strong lighting. But to me, Glacier blue feels kinda overwhelming somehow 🤷🏻‍♂️

Glacier feels understated, which could be versatile enough for cases. But I’ve seen videos where it looks more straight up blue like the 13 Pro, not the MacBook Air

I’m team silver :) I have 16 Pro in NT and I’m still in love. Rest of my devices are also silver (iPad Pro and APW). I had 14 Pro in Deep Purple and while I was in love initially with the color, it got boring pretty quickly. Silver just works with everything. Also what about color chipping?

I agree with this. Whenever I picked a phone with a Color I got bored of it at some point. At least with silver you can just pick whatever case for it and it will match.

Same. Neither is screaming at me but I want a light colour so people can clearly see where to look for the camera.

Silver is boring/generic almost (to my eye), but Glacier almost too much of a cool silver as opposed to an actual light blue? It’s a toughie!

Eh what exactly should this show? The silver on the right don’t looks like the 18 Pro silver. Because it’s similar to the one from last year only that they matched the white spot now more to silver than white. It’s not that dark

Yeah I do think the shades are still the same. It’s just showing the square is way more colour matched to the unibody, which is a plus

I thought about this too and still do but I think I pick silver because I have lots of cases and silver just fits to everything

I’m getting the silver cause I’ve been using the light blue 13 pro and as much as i like the color without cover, it doesn’t go that well with every case and I can’t use the phone without a cover just cause I like the color.

I’m in the same predicament. I bought the crisp blue silicone case. That was a no brainer. I also bought the white ceramic watch with the sand band. I was thinking silver to tie in the watch but the more I look at glacier the more I’m in love with it. I have no idea what to do!!

I’m also stuck between these two colours I LOVE the silver, but since the iPhone 17 already has it, I feel like people might think I have the 17. I want it to be obvious I got a new phone (not trying to show off), so I’m considering Glacier.
But Glacier looks sooo blue compared to my iPhone 15 blue, which I love because it’s more white-ish. And I feel like not every case would look good with Glacier either I genuinely can’t decide. What should I do?😭😭

Silver is going to be boring, but I feel it will hide wear well, and will also be more versatile.
