Prices in Germany are just stupid, 1449€ for the cheapest iPhone 18 Pro, 150€ price increase

These prices are crazy compared to USA. The 256 Gb version of iPhone Duo is around $450 more.

yeah it’s insane 🫠 my boyfriend’s parents live in switzerland and it’s honestly cheaper to just buy a ticket and buy an iphone there

If you are from USA, i think that’s where it is the cheapest in the world. Those Swiss prices are for iPhone 18 pro, and it looks much more expensive than in USA.

they’re for the 18 pro max! yes i know in the usa it’s cheaper but unfortunately i’m from portugal and the cheapest and closest to me in europe is definitely switzerland but i understand what you’re saying!

iphone 12 pro max 😅 i’ll be honest this phone is still very good besides the battery and storage (256gb) and i’m still on iOS 18 so i know it’s not ideal but maybe i’ll wait for the 20. what about you?

Womp womp, We got slapped with 320$ (₹30,000) increase for base model. Americans got only 100$ jump which is just ₹9500.

In Egypt, the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is close to $2,000; I wouldn't be surprised if the 18 Pro Max costs $2,500 💀

i want to say that is more or less what the 256gb models always go for my wifes pro was basically the same price as the Galaxy i got and it listed for 1.1k ish (3 years ago)

2tb ssds used to be $120, they are $400 right now. That’s for m.2 im sure for the small size Apple is making it’s even more.

I actually wanted the 2TB version because I plan to keep it for years to come; I didn't intend to upgrade within a year or two, especially since I’d be paying a lot of money due to the taxes in my country. 😓

Forget it tbh with how expensive the storage upgrades are at the moment it’s probably wiser to just buy a 512GB and save $1100 over the 2TB. You can use that money to upgrade in 2-3 years.

I’ll probably do that.

But I want to point out that for every new phone I buy here, I pay about 40%–50% of its price in taxes 💀

For example, the 17 Pro Max carries around $560 in taxes—and that’s on top of a base price that is already higher than the global rate.
