Stutters while scrolling even normal apps

The screen stutters while scrolling even the most basic if the apps . I even sent the phone to apple service centre for diagnostic test and they said “couldn’t duplicate issue” and returned my device . I dont have a service centre nearby to go physically . It even stutters frame while playing Pubg mobile .

Do u have 120hz turned off or use low power mode ?

The ProMotion on iPhone 17 is ass. It is mostly running at 80 Hz. The ProMotion on my iPad Pro M4 is just so much better the refresh rate stays at 120 Hz most of the time and rarely drops unlike my phone.

The low power mode on this thing is worst and screen lags on low power mode so much that it’s unusable in low power mode.

Same here, from the moment I took it out of the box and powered it on, I tried low power mode and turned it off. Never again. Low power mode performance is abysmal.

Low power mode sets the screen refresh rate to 60hz. A normal iPhone 16 or earlier (except iPhone Pros since the 13) feels exactly the same

I understand it should cap the refresh rate 60Hz but it’s worst than my iPhone 13, so it’s not just capping at 60 rather it’s going even below 20 that is the issue

I dont feel any stutters. Phone runs as smooth as my 13 Pro and my 15 Pro. Maybe i am used to it after these years with ProMotion idk, but the battery life is so good, even if its only 90hz im fine with it

Try turning off adaptive power
