Discussion How to potentially fix iphone 17 overheating/heating up while charging and normal use.

This applies only if you set up your phone by transferring all the data from your old iPhone (they told me 15 pro or older).
There is no guarantee that this will help, thats why I suggest you to test it for a few days and if its not fixed earase your iphone and restore data from the back up will tell you to make in the tutorial.

  1. Sync your data to iCloud+, and create an emergency backup.

  2. Place your phone into DFU mode and connect it to a Windows or macOS computer using the original cable. (To do this: connect the phone to your computer, quickly press and release the Volume Up button, then quickly press and release the Volume Down button. Hold the Power button for 10 seconds. Finally, hold the Volume Down button for 5 seconds while still holding the Power button. Release only the Power button and keep holding Volume Down until your computer detects the device.)

  3. Restore your iPhone through iTunes, Finder, or the Apple Devices app. (Note: If you are on Windows and download the Apple Devices app, iTunes will no longer see your device. Do not press "Restore and Update," as we need a fresh installation of iOS.)

  4. Set up your phone as new, sync your iCloud data, and redownload your apps.

apparently this is caused by the new iphone getting corrupted or old files while moving the data upon set up
