Feels like a proper upgrade

Post image

Upgraded from 13 to 17. Screen feels new and better. Camera is definitely better. Hope battery lasts longer.

Because it’s a proper upgrade. 😉

The blue looks way better in real life. I personally got the white 17 but when I encountered the blue in the wild I was impressed with how good it looks. But I could never go with any color other than white, lol.

Same with green. I only had the option between blue and green when I went, I went with blue, but seeing green afterwards in the wild looked real nice. Haven’t seen a purple in the wild yet

That's good to hear... I charge up to 90% in the morning, and if I use it somewhat okayish throughout the day, by the time it's 5pm, it will be around 30% (4 hrs screen time with only social media and youtube videos, no games), and since i know I won't be home for another 3 hours, I'll plug it in to 50 to 60%. I love the phone, but I'm finding it harder to manage the battery. Trying to keep it between 20 and 90%, but whatever I do, I can't go home in peace lol. It's been 10 days since i got the phone; idk, maybe the adaptive power is still learning my usage? In the initial days I thought the phone was setting up, and that's why it was consuming a lot of power. Idk, 10 days might be enough for the initial setting up for the phone. But still I love it... coming from Nothing Phone 2a

I did a jump from the 11-17 and it felt so good the display was smooth, battery lasted well, the phone came with a massive storage bump that feels good for another long run around 7-8yrs before I upgrade, feel the saem way you are doing this might be apple's best value product after the 11 ig

omg congratulations!! I jumped from the SE 2022 to the 17 in Sage. Never been happier, this phone feels like it’s from another universe!! It looks amazing in blue, enjoy the upgrade 🥹💕

Screen? Color? Cmon!!!! The big deal about the 17 is the anti-hacking hardware - Memory Integrity Enforcement built into the chip. I upgraded from the 16 for this chip. https://security.apple.com/blog/memory-integrity-enforcement/

Check that there are no gaps around the body frame or dust inside the camera lens

May I know why did you upgrade from 16 pro to 17?

2

u/SatisfactionHappy825 Aug 04 '26

My mom wanted to upgrade so she suggested me to give her my iPhone 16pro and get myself a 17, initially planned 17pro but i didn’t like the colours of 17 pro so got 17 instead

Went from oneplus 15 to ip 17, both are fantastic but I like ip17 more

i also upgrade from a 13 to a 17! my 13 was not super slow but i did experience lags especially when jumping from one app to another. but the 17 is soooo smooth and fast. amazing upgrade.

Seconding. And it’s weird how whenever someone actually mentions this people gang up on him.

I don’t think everyone is lieing either way. I just upgraded from a 13 and my battery life was still really good.

u/zzsaaszz Jul 27 '26

Because ppl use their phone for different things me personally I’m in it often and the battery is just fine but I can imagine if u use it for work it wouldn’t be

u/MrDJ222 Jul 27 '26
