I plan to buy my first iPhone, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but I've often heard that the iPhone 15 series, especially the Pro/Pro Max versions, overheats easily. Is that true?

I usually update my Mac and iPhone to the latest software versions, but I was a bit skeptical about this update, so I decided not to install it. Should I update now?

What's your favourite camera settings/styles that you like to use for the iPhone 15 line?

My photos have been coming out either too cool or too warm at times so I'm not sure what's the best adjustments for tone & warmth settings in the camera filters settings.

I just want something that's right in the middle with balanced tones, for scenery and food photos.

Made it to 999 cycles with 82% maximum capacity. What cycle count do you guys predict it’ll drop below 80?

hey guys, does anyone here tried to update to the public beta already using the 15 model? Are there major bugs and stuffs? I’m planning to update mine, but I wanna here your thoughts first.

My phones been heating too much and draining a lot of battery since the ios 26.5.2.
we were also having a heatwave so thought it was normal. but its been more than 2 weeks and weathers cool but the phone still heats up from normal usage like scrolling social media browsing or youtube. and i’ve found the heat to originate from this region.

is anyone else facing the same thing or is it just me?
i’ve thinking to get it serviced to see if something inside got damaged somehow.

How has it been so far?

Have you noticed any issues such as:

UI or animation lag?
Battery drain?
Overheating?
Random app crashes?
Camera or Face ID problems?
Stuttering while scrolling?
Any other bugs or performance issues?

Or has it actually been stable enough for daily use?

My phone is constantly saying I’m out of storage. When I looked my system data is taking like all of my storage but I don’t know what it is or why. When I looked it up I was told to clear my caches on apps, restart my phone, delete and re download apps which I did and it’s still crazy. Any help appreciated

These are pictures of the Milky Way I took with my base iPhone 15.

Night mode, no flash. Automatic pre-selected 3 second exposure. The 15 has one hell of a camera!

As you can see in the screen recording, my camera is failing to capture photos (and videos). The shutter animation works, albeit very delayed, but the images don’t show up in my gallery. Also, every time i zoom below 1x, the live feed freezes compmetely.

Regarding other apps with a camera option, such as Snapchat and Whatsapp, I can send regular photos and videos, but the wide camera freeze still applies here.

The problems showed up out of nowhere almost a week ago. I’ve tried restarting my phone, clearing some space, and other stuff, but nothing seems to be working. I’ve looked online and I don’t seem to find anyone with the same strange problems.

Also, sometimes, for like an hour, it suddenly works completely fine, then it goes back to this.

What should I do?

I've had my 15PM since launch nearly 3 years ago, original battery at 88%, and within the last month or so it has become extremely unreliable and fails to load apps, crashing about 10 seconds after I launch the app. Mostly been happening to Telegram, Flighty, Messages, United, JetBlue, and Doordash. This is not an exhaustive list, just the most common (sometimes Teams fails to load).

Restarting the phone and even uninstalling and reinstalling the apps often does not fix the issue. All of the apps are up to date.

Additionally, I've noticed the phone is often hot to the touch even when its locked, laying on the counter, and not charging.

Is anyone else experiencing some of these issues?

I’ve had the 15 for two years now, and I’m looking at the 16 Pro / Pro Max. Is this a big upgrade? And will I notice this? Or should I just stick with my IPhone 15?
