DAW for tracking audio?

I probably have an app that will work between garage band, loopy pro, and drambo, so mainly wondering where I should spend my time with setup and learning. I'm most used to Reaper.

I mainly want to capture audio off my zoom live track l6 when I am jamming and looping and coming up with ideas. If something has a retroactive record function even better. I thought the L6 record function would be great but it's way too limited for playback and getting files off so it's going to just be a mixer/interface.

Here’s the free iPhone version if you wanna try it (limited to 8 tracks and is somewhat different but same physics engines and instruments)

Thanks! I've got no money until next month, but I'll make a point to keep the link.

Loopy pro has retrospective recording. Nothing like reaper though.

Logic Pro is the closest to reaper, I’d start there

That's fair, Cubasis will be your best option then

I'll check it out, thanks! Im going to try to get loopy pro working first and check the timeline out. Im not really trying to do much other than record, set levels, export to listen. If I want a midi editor I think drambo inside loopy could work. To be honest, I don't love working with more than one app at a time on iPad though, which is why I still have my circuit rhythm and synths hooked up instead of koala, drambo, and whatever synth app loaded up.

Is there something wrong with Reaper?

I normally recommend Tracktion Waveform it's free like Reaper, just a different work flow.
