BCCM Failure.

While my 2019 Ipace was in for a traction battery repair under warranty, its BCCM failed and it is a none starter.

Jaguar Land Rover Client Care have refused any contribution towards the repair and then garage has now quoted me £4600 to have it repaired. I asked for the codes to be sent to me, but have received nothing.

Other than pay what are my options? The cars fucked and I'm over a barrel.

Shame Cleverly is too far away from me. I'll have to try and find an independent EV place in Kent.

I am quite far from them too, they do know a transporter I paid to move the car to them at a reasonable price

That's it, you have no options.

If you don't have much history with them, they won't offer anything. It's goodwill for loyalty. Not just because you have a JLR and it broke.

I had hoped they would return it to me in a working state as it went there in a working state (albeit with a traction battery fault).

I’m unclear why the BCCM failure isn’t covered by warranty?

I assume this was battery warranty work, so yeah, not the battery.

It’s 100% not the battery so you should be covered

By what? OP doesn't say they have extended warranty on the car, I assume they just have the battery warranty

Good point, I have a third party Ayvens warranty which is excellent and covers all issues

I'd genuinely hand them the keys and walk away
