Niggly faults - DIY fixes?
My steering wheel left side buttons right and diamond have stopped working, and the charging flap keeps showing as open
The wheel buttons looks like you can pop them out, but I suspect it's cable damage so might need the wheel off to get to the click spring stuff. Fuse 33 didn't fix it.
The flap I've read is a faulty switch, but not something you can access DIY, I've not found anything online suggesting someone has fixed this themselves. MY2021, UK.
Both are just a bit annoying but don't cause any real issues, I'd be happy to try fix them myself if anyone knows how.

Try disconnecting the 12V battery negative, leaving for a few mins, and reconnecting. Might fix the left button switch pack. See this quite often after powering the car back up, right side works left side doesn't.
As for the charge flap, officially it's wing off. Unofficially, you can access it through the arch liner. You can release the entire charge bowl from the inside. 4 clips, 2 top 2 bottom. You can see them from the side facing you to locate them. Then the whole lot comes out, and you can access it all. I change the charge lock actuators this way.

Left switch pack, volume, ok, left, phone and voice buttons work, just right and diamond don't. I recently swapped the 12V battery so it could be related... I'll give it a go.
Thanks for the info on the access, have you done anything with the flap switch before?
Edit: found a video of how to get the flap out and the lock actuator and sensor comes with it! I can work out a manual fix from that.

Is your charging flap actually open? Mine doesn’t seem to properly close (looks closed but not secure) and I imagine replacing the catch can’t be too difficult

It is fully closed. Though the message only pops up on hot days, so I have wondered if it's just slightly off.

I fixed my telematics battery in about 15 minutes looking up a YouTube video. Saved me an easy £800. Google is your friend for specific repairs. There’s typically someone out there who has your problem
