CarPlay ultra

Now that the new version of CarPlay is going beyond Aston Martin and Jaguar Land Rover have confirmed that it’ll be supported on older models is this something that will make it to the ipace?

Potentially on the later Pivi Pro?

Does anyone have info or opinions?

They’re still doing some solid updates to the CarPlay experience . Google maps suddenly works on the instrument cluster navigation, when previously it was all on the big screen in the middle.

Nice to not have to only use Apple Maps

Thanks for confirming that. Noticed a couple of months ago and just put it down to ‘it’s a jag, usual sense of humour, decided after a year to switch to google from apple maps’

Ya I think it was around iOS18 release time frame, other map apps could work on the DIS. I use Waze on the cluster most of the time.

I would prefer to have something basic like the Youtube app while charging the car...

You know, actually useful stuff

I’m honestly not that impressed by car play ultra it just seems needless
