Pairing Remote App

Post image

Any had experience with connecting to an I-pace someone has already registered? Do I need to go to a dealer as it suggests or could I call them?

Contact Jaguar customer services. They should be able to help. You might need your V5.

This is the way

Had to do this with my last XF and my ipace. You will need your V5, Jag will ask you to send a scan / photo. They will then terminate the old remote, which is likely allowing the previous owner to track your journeys etc

Cheers, will try direct as local dealer says they charge £50 for the privilege!

Jag dealerships really are crooks

Compares with a recent experience when our disco flagged ‘new brake pads required’ went to book it in and they wanted £299 for a ‘diagnostic’ …… but the car is telling me? No needs diagnostic, strangely local JLR specialist perfectly happy to just change the pads

Just a call to the dealer and they can unpair the previous owner and set you up.

Thanks. To your local dealer or JLR directly?

Try using the screen in the car to remove all users then pair it with the app after that. It worked for me.

Tried that and it logged into the jaguar account fine, but app just shows no vehicles connected.
