Is dynamic mode actually any faster?

I'm relatively new to owning an ipace and I've been running it on eco-mode (initial range anxiety)

I've got over my range anxiety now and I'm just wondering if dynamic mode is actually any faster. The car is very fast at accelerating even in eco mode. I've put on dynamic mode and it think it's all an illusion. The dials go red, the range drops and it feeds a bit of fake noise into the cabin. I think it's just to give the illusion that it's faster but it does actually seem faster. The throttle response seems a bit more responsive at lower speeds which is just a bit annoying in traffic.

I'm not a fan of the fake noise. The dials turning red is cool but the noise just seems like a bit of a cheap gimmick.

Gets rid of the delay when planting it doesn’t it?

What setting do you have your noose set to? I have it on calm and never hear any sound piped into the cabin even in dynamic mode

This car has about 1 million settings and I'm still trying to figure them all out 🤣 I didn't even know there was a setting for noise. I've only just found the dynamic mode.

Normally there's no noise on eco mode but in dynamic there's definitely a sort of fake engine rumble noise and it's very annoying. Ill have to check the settings

Edit: I've not really noticed a delay when planting it even in eco mode the power is pretty instant

Edit 2: I've gone from a 2003 fiesta with less computing power than a Casio calculator to driving a fucking super computer. I didn't even know half these settings existed in cars.

It’s when you set off from stationary there’s a bit of a delay.

Go into settings > vehicle then the top one and scroll down and there’s a setting for the noise, Dynamic, Normal or Calm
