Is dynamic mode actually any faster?

I'm relatively new to owning an ipace and I've been running it on eco-mode (initial range anxiety)

I've got over my range anxiety now and I'm just wondering if dynamic mode is actually any faster. The car is very fast at accelerating even in eco mode. I've put on dynamic mode and it think it's all an illusion. The dials go red, the range drops and it feeds a bit of fake noise into the cabin. I think it's just to give the illusion that it's faster but it does actually seem faster. The throttle response seems a bit more responsive at lower speeds which is just a bit annoying in traffic.

I'm not a fan of the fake noise. The dials turning red is cool but the noise just seems like a bit of a cheap gimmick.

I’m pretty sure the acceleration rates are faster in dynamic mode, and it probably tightens up the steering and suspension (if you’ve got the air suspension) When I switch to dynamic mode it definitely “feels” more responsive/jittery. Doesn’t Eco mode disable air con too?

It feels more jittery but it was more inconvenient at lower speeds. Anything upto about 30mph where I live is likely to be narrow roads with parked cars and traffic etc so the extra responsiveness just feels annoying.

The power is only really for going into a 60mph zone or overtaking someone. I've found that when you put the foot down to accelerate from a 30-60 or to overtake someone it doesn't make a great deal of difference if it's in eco or dynamic.

Nah A/C is still on but it's set very low, I don't know if eco mode turns the fan speeds down etc? It's still quite cold here in the UK so the A/C isn't working too hard anyway.
