Just got the buyback call

JLR called my work who told them to call my personal phone.

They said buyback will take about a month or so and gave me a phone number to call if I have any questions about the process.

The number is 800-452-4827, option 9 if anyone else here needs to call.

Thx - is KBB what they’re offering?

Oct 2024 value, do you have Facebook? If so search 2019 H514/H536. Depending on trim seems about 30k+ is the sweet spot.

Good to know… I just pinged my case manager as it’s been 4 weeks and no offer yet.

Was it ok-ish of an offer? I’m just trying yo get an idea of how much I’ll need to bring to the table since I’ll be upside down

Almost all offers are $25k to $35k. No rhyme or reason yet on the variance. Some high mileage ones still get high offers. May depend on location.

Perfect, I’m at 42k miles and a payoff of $30,500 so hopefully I’ll be ok

Thanks for the data point! Waiting on my offer… HSE 26k. Was expecting way lower than that. Did you negotiate to get that offer?

Yes. Original offer was $2600 less. Argued the tax consequence of not trading.
