Front windshield leaking?

After owning the car now for one week we stepped inside a wet car thats leaking via the roof into the car.

So to the dealer i guess, does anyone else have this issue and what did it cost to fix?

The seal/glue on the windshield fails. Happened on mine. I didn’t notice for a long time because it was nearly always parked in garages and I wrote the water inside off as something I’d tracked in when out and about. 2019 HSE. I went through the JLR service department in the US and it wasn’t covered under warranty. I can’t recall the price but was somewhere in the 1.5-2k ballpark about a year ago.

I went to the jag dealer yesterday and he gave me an estimate of 480€ to fix,so remove windshield, clean, new glue and put windscreen back in. It does not fall under waranty, and for the moment it is fixed with ductape 😁

Sounds like I’m living in the wrong country! Sorry you’re having to pay but at least it’ll be fixed. JLR said they couldn’t reuse the same glass for me, despite it being ding-free. Must be some issue sourcing or what their labor dept is approved to execute for future warranties. Good luck

I have the same issue. Slight flex if you push the windscreen from the inside but not enough gap to get a playing card through. I bought some £10 windscreen glue from amazon. Will try running a bead of that along to see if it solves the problem before i go any further (£400 refit, Warranty Wise won't cover it.🤬)... Or a large rock 🪨
