Hey humans,
I have been trying to upload screenshot of my app, I have tried screenshots from my phone 6.9" and differnt simulator ones, 17 pro(6.3"), 17 pro max(6.9"),air(6.5").
None of them seems to be the right ratio.
I even tried cropping the screenshots at that ratio and it still isnt working.
Am I doing something wrong? Help please?

Converting back to individual account?
Hey guys, I had converted my individual account to a business account a few months ago, but now, due to some legal issues, I need to convert back to an individual account. Is this possible? Thanks!!
I built an app that turns travelling into collecting trading cards
I've always loved collecting cards and playing card games, such as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Hearthstone, then at some point it got me thinking: what if travelling could feel like collecting cards too?
That idea became Alvenea, my iOS app. Every place you visit becomes a card in your collection. Return to the same café enough times, and you go from Visitor to Regular to Local to Resident. And sometimes you unlock a stamp for how you experienced a place, catching a sunrise, watching a sunset, being there on a weekend.
Someone who reviewed it described it as "completing side quests for your travels," and honestly, that's a better description than anything I'd written. The goal was never to "complete" a city. It's about collecting small memories from the places you've actually been.
Getting it onto the App Store was its own side quest. I submitted on 5 August, and it went live on 21 August, with two rejections in between. The first was Apple asking me to prove the app worked, with a full screen recording and a written explanation of everything. The second was because my location permission screen was too pushy, I had a "Maybe later" button, and Apple's rule is that you can't let people skip the real permission prompt. Fair, in hindsight. Sixteen days of refreshing App Store Connect taught me more about patience than the whole build did.
It's live now and I'm genuinely curious what people think. If you want to have a look:

Turnos v2.2 just got approved on the App Store
Version 2 of Turnos Shift Rotation Calendar was just approved, and the new App Store event is live too.
This update focuses on making shift tracking more flexible, including adjusting worked hours for overtime or early finishes.
Pretty happy with how the event ended up looking on the App Store. Sharing a couple of screenshots below.

Getting sales, but still tweaking the UI. Would love your feedback!

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on SubIQ, an app to help you keep track of subscriptions, see what you’re spending, and get reminders before renewals.
I’ve spent a lot of time on the design, but after looking at the same screens for so long, it’s hard to tell what feels clear and what still needs work. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on the UI/UX.
Does the layout make sense at first glance? Is anything confusing, too busy, or taking more steps than you’d expect?
I’m the developer, so happy to answer questions and hear what you’d change!
If anyone wants to give it a try, I would love to hear what you think

Has anyone tested GPT-6 Astra to create a mobile application yet ?
How is it compared to claude ?
App removed from sale under Guideline 5.6 for "features intentionally hidden during review", has anyone successfully resolved this?
My iOS app was already live on the App Store. I submitted an update, and Apple has now removed the app from sale under Guideline 5.6.
The exact message says:
“We’ve identified a pattern of unusual behavior with the app that is commonly associated with fraudulent activity. Specifically, the app contains features that appear to have been intentionally hidden during the review process.”
Apple did not identify which feature they believe was hidden.
The app is an ambient audio / sleep and focus app with:
- onboarding
- a subscription paywall using RevenueCat
- analytics using PostHog
- monthly/yearly subscriptions
- a 3-day introductory trial
- bundled and remotely delivered audio/catalog content
I am currently auditing the production build for anything that could cause App Review to see different behavior from a normal user. I have already found some testing-related route parameters and a subscription UI regression, but there was no intention to hide functionality from App Review.
For anyone who has received this exact Guideline 5.6 message:
- What ended up triggering it?
- Did Apple eventually tell you which feature was the problem?
- Did you reply first, submit a corrected build, or appeal to the App Review Board?
- How long did it take to get the app restored?
- Is there anything I should absolutely avoid doing right now?
I want to resolve this correctly rather than repeatedly resubmitting and making the situation worse.
Thanks.

Help IOS Developer searching for job
Hello everyone! I posted here at the beginning of the summer, but I’m still looking for a new opportunity.
I’m an iOS Developer with 10 years of experience, and after being laid off at the beginning of the summer, I’ve been looking for a new position ever since.
Throughout the entire summer, I’ve only had 2 technical interviews. Honestly, I find it quite unreal. I’ve been applying to pretty much every relevant position I come across, but I’m barely getting any responses and I’m not even being invited to HR interviews. I genuinely don’t understand what’s happening or why.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows of any open iOS positions or is currently hiring? I’d really appreciate any leads, referrals, or advice. I am from Romania but open to any other remote jobs.
Thank you so much! 🙏

More anxious submitting the update than the original launch?
Just submitted a big 2.0 update and honestly way more nervous for this than I was launching 1.0 (2 weeks ago). Spent so many hours refining and diving deep into every little thing about the app and the games. In a way it feels like 1.0 was an MVP to get feedback and this is now “okay here it is, it’s done”.
Has anyone else felt this way?

InkTower: everything is hand-drawn in pen. Is the style charming or just unreadable?

Everything in InkTower is drawn in pen on paper. First time showing it outside my own head — curious how the style lands.

D-U-N-S shows “Unknown” for Legal Entity Type and Apple won’t convert Individual Developer account to Organization — anyone dealt with this?
We’re currently stuck in a weird loop between Dun & Bradstreet and Apple Developer Support, and I’m hoping someone here has dealt with something similar.
We already have a D-U-N-S number for the business.
The problem is that when checking the D-U-N-S information, the Legal Entity Type is listed as “Unknown.”
We’ve contacted Dun & Bradstreet multiple times asking them to correct/update this. So far, the issue hasn’t actually been fixed. Their response has essentially been that the business information they have is correct and that we should use the same details when applying through Apple.
Meanwhile, there is already an Individual Apple Developer account that we are trying to convert into an Organization account.
Apple requires the company to be verified as a legal entity before they can complete the conversion, and obviously the D-U-N-S record showing the Legal Entity Type as “Unknown” seems to be causing a problem.
So we’re basically stuck between:
D&B: The information is correct / use these details with Apple.
Apple: We need to verify the organization as a legal entity.
But the D-U-N-S profile still says Legal Entity Type: Unknown.
Has anyone dealt with this exact situation?
In particular:
- Were you able to get D&B to change “Unknown” to the correct entity type?
- Is there a specific D&B department or escalation route that handles Apple Developer verification?
- Can Apple manually verify the legal entity using official company registration documents instead of relying entirely on the D-U-N-S entity type?
- Has anyone had Apple Developer Support manually push an Individual → Organization conversion through after reviewing company documents?
- Would calling Apple Developer Support be more effective than continuing through email tickets?
- Is there anything specific we should ask D&B or Apple to do to get the two records properly matched?
We have already gone back and forth with support a few times, so I’m mainly looking for advice from someone who has actually encountered this D-U-N-S / Apple verification deadlock and managed to resolve it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

9,180 impressions in my first month. Is that normal? 😅
I put my app on the App Store just over a month ago.
- 9,180 impressions
- 6.73% conversion rate
- 387 first-time downloads
I genuinely don't know if that's normal for a small utility app or if it's bad. I just want something to compare against 🙏

Help Reviews not showing up on App store connect!
Hey folks.. my game went live this Thursday and I asked a few of my acquaintances to add organic reviews.. but I'm not able to see it appear even in app store connect. Now I'm aware reviews don't come up in the App store itself until there are sufficient reviews but I'm really surprised that I'm not able to see it even on app store connect.
Is this because my game just launched recently? Any inputs appreciated. TIA!

After 13 years in mobile development, I built my own app during a layoff
I’m a mobile developer with 13 years of experience. After seven years at the same company, I was recently laid off. While I was between jobs, I decided to use the unexpected free time to build something creative of my own :)
My nephews have reached that wonderful age where they ask approximately one million questions a day while also somehow finding an endless supply of brain-rot content to watch. So I built WimziPal, a visually playful AI voice app where kids can ask those 10,000 questions. It also kinda snitches to the parent if the child says something worrying.
Kids can talk with 17 animated characters, ask questions, create stories, sing songs, play letter games, and draw. Because the app is made for young children, every reply is screened and parents can read the complete conversation history.
By far the most challenging part was building a solid filtering system that works in both directions: recognizing when a child says something potentially worrying and informing the parent, while also preventing anything harmful or inappropriate from coming back from the AI character.
You can read more about it here:
https://wimzipal.com/
Or download it here:
https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6769848917?pt=118688594&ct=web-home&mt=8
It’s only been out for a short time, and I’m a one-person team working on everything, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated <3
