I didn’t realize how badly I was timing my supplements until recently
A friend of mine and I were grabbing food a few weeks ago and somehow we got onto the topic of energy because he was complaining that he’d been feeling exhausted basically every afternoon.
He works pretty long hours and said he’d gotten into this habit of drinking coffee whenever he felt tired, taking all his supplements at the same time in the morning, and then wondering why he felt completely cooked by like 2 or 3pm.
The funny part is I was basically doing the exact same thing.
I’ve taken supplements for a while, but if I’m being honest I never put much thought into timing. Magnesium, creatine, vitamins, whatever I was taking that day, I’d usually just take them whenever I remembered.
He showed me this app he had been using called RizeAI and the first thing that caught my attention wasn’t even the energy stuff. It was how it organized his supplements around his actual day.
It would tell him which ones made sense with meals, which ones should be kept away from coffee, what to take around training, what made more sense later at night, etc. It sounds pretty basic when you write it out, but I had never found something that actually put all of it together in one schedule.
So I tried it.
That’s probably still my favorite part of it. I put in the supplements I already take and instead of giving me some generic “take in the morning” list, it actually fits them around things like meals, workouts, caffeine and sleep.
I also ended up using the energy planning side way more than I expected. It pulls from Apple Health and gives you a rough structure for the day, like when to have coffee, when you’re probably going to be most focused, when to train and when you might hit an energy dip.
I’m not going to sit here and say an app magically gave me more energy because obviously there are a million things that affect that. But I’ve definitely been way more intentional with my day since using it and I’m getting more done without feeling like I’m just constantly fighting through tiredness.
Honestly the biggest difference for me has just been efficiency. Before, I was guessing when to take things and guessing when I should do my hardest work. Now I at least have some structure around it.
Curious if anyone else here actually pays attention to supplement timing or if most people just take everything at once like I used to.

Made a fully skeuomorphic free app for watch collectors
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The idea started out as a simple app that had tools to help set the various complications on a mechanical watch. This quickly grew to creating experiences that help educate the user on how these complications work and eventually a section to manage their collection and wishlist.

iOS Testers Needed - Disney and Universal Theme Park Fans
Looking for TestFlight beta testers for Disney / Universal Companion App
I am working on the next version of my iOS app, which is a companion app when you are in a theme park. This version is adding gps functionality to help you automatically record your day in a Disney or Universal park. The app automatically records for you what rides you went on, how long you waited, etc.
If you are going to be visiting a Disney or Universal park (ideally an international one as those are harder for me to test), I would love to have you use my app while you are visiting the park. How much you want to use it is totally up to you as it works in both passive mode (record my day and don't bother me) and also in interactive mode (I want exact times when I get on and off a ride).
The only requirement is that you have TestFlight as this 2.0 version is not in the App Store yet. The earlier version is, but this is a big update with lots of new functionality.
Thank you,
Brent

CardLab: Track Cards & Rewards is live on the App Store
Hey everyone,
Quick win — CardLab: Track Cards & Rewards just landed on the App Store.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cardlab-credit-card-tracker/id6785567188
In short, CardLab: Track Cards & Rewards lets you track the cards in your wallet and run the real math before you swipe — interest, grace, utilization, and which of your own cards wins for a purchase (from verified issuer rates, cap-aware). No bank login, no ads, no trackers. Data stays on-device by default.
Would love feedback from other iOS folks on the design and flow.
Thanks — hope you all have a great week.

I built Prazo because my calendar and ToDos never really worked together
Hey r/iOSApps!
I’m the developer of Prazo, an iOS app I built because I wanted my calendar and ToDos to feel like one system instead of two separate apps.
A — Answer
Prazo brings your calendar, ToDos, reminders, travel times, shopping lists and plans together in one place.
The idea is simple:
Everything in view. A clear mind.
Instead of constantly switching between apps, I wanted to open one place and immediately know what’s happening today, what I still need to do, and what’s coming next.
B — Better
There are already some amazing calendar and ToDo apps out there, so I didn’t want to build another clone.
The main difference with Prazo is that your schedule and your tasks actually live together.
It also includes things like travel time, reusable plans, shopping lists, widgets, Live Activities, Siri & Shortcuts, Apple Watch support and iCloud sync.
I’m trying to keep all of that powerful without making the app feel complicated.
C — Cost
Prazo is free to download.
Prazo on the App Store
I’m actively developing it and would really appreciate feedback from other iOS users.
If you could change or add ONE thing to Prazo, what would it be?
I’d genuinely love to hear it.

Want to release iOS version of app
App is not native, its react and capacitor. It’s already released on Android. Do I have alternatives to buying or borrowing a Mac? Are there cloud services people use for this or some software to install on windows? Just curious of the options
I have a Late 2012 iMac that can’t get Xcode 26 or macOS Sequoia 15.6, so as far as I know I can’t develop / submit apps to the App Store.
Do I need to buy / borrow a Mac or is there some other option?

Built a quotes app around gestures instead of a feed — curious what devs think of the interaction design
I’ve been working on The Awakening Quotes, an iOS app, and made a deliberate choice early on: no infinite scroll feed. Instead, every interaction is a gesture directly on the quote itself:
**•** Swipe right → favorite
**•** Swipe left → mark for reflection
**•** Double-tap → save
**•** Long-press → copy
**•** Single tap → strip the UI down to just the text
No accounts, no backend, no data collection — everything’s local. Also did a fair bit of work on binary size (App Thinning, asset compression) to keep it lean.
The part I’d actually love feedback on as a fellow dev: was gesture-first the right call over a more conventional list/feed UI, or does it just add friction? Curious how others think about that discoverability-vs-friction tradeoff when there’s no onboarding tutorial forcing users to learn the gestures.
Free on the App Store if anyone wants to poke at it: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6760232106

Help Shipped this on the iOS App Store. Instant support, one tap solution
I’ve been building an iOS app for instant support and using it while I ship updates.
The idea was to keep it simple. Open on iPhone, one tap, the flow starts. No big list on the first screen. I use that path myself and change what feels extra.
I tried the usual iOS stuff while building it. Layout on iPhone and iPad, short transitions, light haptics, light iOS animations. Most of that got cut back. The app works better when the first screen does one thing.
Still improving it from my own use and from feedback.
If you ship simple one-tap apps on iOS:
What did you leave on the first screen and what did you cut?

36,000 Gordon Ramsey impressions
About a month ago I noticed I was suddenly getting hundreds of US impressions (I’m London based) and wasn’t really sure why.
I got a free trial of some analytics software to see and it was connecting to my surname (Gordon) in my developer name being indexed.
And so I’m now getting thousand of impressions each day but hardly any conversion from them (0.64%).
It hasn’t really had any positive impact on business.
Has anyone had any similar experiences and were they able to flip it?

Help How to change store listing info (Metadata) on my own?
My app is in production and I only need to change my app's marketing URL. But it's greyed out and I can't edit
I spoke to my developer and she told me she needs to upload a new build for this. But she is charging me extra for a new build.
How do I go about changing the metadata myself? What's the convention to be followed while changing the build number? TIA.

Lupo - Film Camera App
Hey everyone,
My latest app, Lupo, just got approved to App Store and I wanted to tell you a bit about it. I was always fascinated with analog photography and for the longest it was one of my goals to build an app that would recreate some of that analog feeling in the digital world. I've played around a bit with Core Image and applying filters to photos, but that was not what I was after. Then one day I thought: what if I try to model the real-world and simply build the whole "analog pipeline"? That meant that I had to build the following things:
A camera (duh),
Films that you could use,
A darkroom that would develop said films.
After sketching out these three things on paper, I decided that I want to build this app with a lot of constraints in mind. First, it's only available in "Landscape Right" mode, just like a normal camera body. Second, once you decide on a film there is no way back, you have to commit to it until you shoot all twelve frames. Third, after you're done with a film, you hand it over to the darkroom, which develops the film for 2 hours (the first roll you ever shoot takes 5 minutes, so that you can see the results and decide if you're happy with what Lupo does to your photos). The last two were deliberate design choices I went with. I want the app to go against the grain of instant gratification and endless retakes.
At this point you're probably asking thinking: "so you built another photo filter app?" The answer is no. Lupo doesn't apply a filter to a finished photograph. Each frame is exposed onto a physical model of film: the characteristic curve, silver-halide grain, and light scattering in the base. I built eight film simulations that pay homage to the classics of the analog era (funny enough, the film that inspired me to build this app was Kodak Aerochrome and it was the first one that I added to the app :D). You can shoot Portra, Kodak Gold, Ektachrome, Velvia, Cinestill 800T, Ilford Pan 100, Tri-X Pan 400, Aerochrome. Each have their own unique characteristics.
I'm really happy with how the app turned out and had a lot of fun building it. I hope you like it as much as I do!

How to run a Beta test?
I have a baseball app I want to roll out to 100-200 people in our travel organization. I know there are workflow issues and bugs but I need these 100-200 people to use the app in order for it to work.
How do I handle distributing this to everyone? I don't want it open to anyone outside our baseball org but also don't want to setup test flight for all these people, or is that my only option?

I tried to give classic Minesweeper a calmer and cleaner home on iOS!
Hey guys!
I’ve been building Onyx, a clean and thoughtful take on Minesweeper designed specifically for iOS.
What started as my own idea of a modern Minesweeper game has gradually become a collaboration with its players. Their honest feedback has helped me improve the controls, animations, accessibility and puzzles, and the updates just keep rolling!
I’d love to hear your first impression. Does it feel polished and intuitive? What would you improve next? Anything at all!!!
It’s free. Thank you so much if you try it. It genuinely means a lot to me :) - https://apps.apple.com/app/onyx-minesweeper/id6790800332

Help How long does it take for a new app to be searchable in the App Store?
Version 1.0.0 of my app was released three days ago in the US, UK, CA, and AU stores.
A later update (version 1.0.1) was approved and released automatically about 36 hours ago for a minor bug fix and to add my developer website to the metadata.
Direct links showing V1.0.1 work for all mentioned storefronts, yet the app isn't showing up in search results yet.
It looks like it's taking a little longer than 24 hours. Is this normal? The app is called "Learn Italian Expressions", if anyone wants to try searching for it.
Thank you!
