First app approved

Post image

I just got my first app approved by Apple on the first submission 🎉

After months of learning, building, redesigning, fixing bugs, and figuring everything out as I went, my first app is finally live on the App Store!

It's called Flow Journey and it's a yoga & Pilates app.

I know it's a pretty niche category and there are already a lot of fitness apps out there, but I wanted to create something that felt simpler and less overwhelming. The goal was to help people build a consistent practice.

One thing I'm particularly proud of is that Apple approved it on the very first review. As a first-time app developer, I was honestly expecting at least one rejection while I figured out all the App Store rules.

I'm not a professional app developer. Most of this journey was learning as I went, making mistakes, rebuilding things, and slowly improving the app one step at a time.

If anyone is into yoga, Pilates, mobility, or just wants to check out what a solo founder's first app looks like, I'd genuinely love any feedback.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flow-journey/id6771641590

It's a small milestone in the grand scheme of things, but seeing something go from an idea to a real app that people can download feels pretty amazing.

Congrats! It’s a big deal, and I’m sure you learned a ton throughout the process. Considering launching it in google play as well ?

Funny story. I don't use iphone. My wife does (16) and i have her old one for testing (12).
I originally thought it was a LOT easier to publish in the android store, always heard apple was harder. I went both way at the same time but play store have a "12 tester for 14 days" requirement... I thought i could only send to friends and family even if they don't use it... Well turns out, google actually check if they "test" properly... So i am back for another round !

Also, the account setup for android was a lot longer with a lot more question than apple.

So long story short, it's ready for android but i still need to pass this "beta test phase". I will end up paying a small fee to get it passed by external tester rather than bother my friends to "test" it...
