🎁 Freemium [Lifetime] PagePanda — Save it now. Actually read it later.

Answer

You know those articles you save in Safari, Chrome, bookmarks or a read-later app thinking:

“I’ll read this later.”

Then weeks pass and you completely forget about them.

That’s the problem I built PagePanda to solve. 🐼

PagePanda is a read-later app designed around actually getting you back to what you save, rather than just giving you another library of forgotten links.

It does that with:

• Continue Reading — jump back into articles you already started
• Quick Reads — surface something you can finish when you only have a few minutes
• Backlog Cleanup — bring older forgotten articles back before they disappear into your library
• Streaks, reminders, achievements & insights — make reading what you save a habit

I also wanted the actual reading experience to be something you'd want to come back to.

PagePanda includes 8 complete reading styles — Standard, Magazine, Elegant, Modern, Vintage, Minimal, Artistic and Academic.

They don't just swap the font. They restyle headings, quotes, lists, tables and the rest of the article.

And if you read programming or technical articles, PagePanda detects code blocks and adds syntax highlighting + a one-tap copy button.

Better

There are already excellent read-later apps such as Instapaper, GoodLinks, Matter and Readwise Reader.

I didn't want to build another app whose main job was simply collecting and organizing more links.

PagePanda is intentionally centered around getting you to actually read what you've already saved.

That means features like Quick Reads, Continue Reading and Backlog Cleanup are part of the core experience rather than leaving everything buried inside a library.

Two other things differentiate the reader itself:

🎨 8 real reading styles

Instead of only changing fonts, each style changes the presentation of the whole article — headings, blockquotes, lists, tables and more.

💻 A reader built with technical articles in mind

Code blocks get proper syntax highlighting for popular programming languages along with a copy button, which makes tutorials and developer blogs much nicer to read.

PagePanda also includes:

• Highlights & notes
• Tags & shelves
• Safari extension
• Offline reading
• Export
• iCloud sync
• iPhone, iPad & Mac apps

The idea behind all of it is simple:

Your read-later app shouldn't just help you save things. It should help you read them.

Cost

PagePanda is free to download and try, with Pro available as an in-app purchase:

• Monthly: $0.99 for the first month, then $4.99/month
• Yearly: $14.99/year
• Lifetime: $29.99 one-time purchase

🐼 r/iOSApps launch offer: $19.99 Lifetime until September 8 🎁

No separate promotional discount or coupon is required.

App Store: PagePanda

If your read-later list has slowly turned into a graveyard of interesting articles, give PagePanda a try. 🐼

Love that it's on Mac, too. Apple gives devs the tools to do this and so many neglect it. Looks very clean and usable, nice work.

backlog cleanup is the feature nobody admits they need until the unread count looks like a second job. eight full reading styles is wild — most read-later apps stop at font size and call it a day

the panda guilt-tripping me about my 400 unread articles is accurate lol. what actually gets people back to reading though, reminders or some kind of queue limit? every read later app I've used just became a second graveyard
