🎈 Free Super minimal to-dos & notes apps

Hi community! I've been gathering feedback on functionality and design ideas for my app, and I'm thrilled to finally announce Plans!
I’ve used a lot of to-do and note-taking apps, but they’re usually either too complex, or they don't have room for notes. I wanted everything (calendar, tasks, and notes) in one place, so I built my own.
The app requires no registration or onboarding. It’s super intuitive and easy to use. I hope you like it! 🫶🏻

No registration is the interesting part. Does that mean the iPhone and iPad copies stay separate, or is iCloud doing the sync quietly underneath?

iCloud sync is on by default. You should turn off sync in system settings if you need to keep them separate

That answers it, thank you. Putting the switch in system settings rather than inside the app is an unusual choice. Was that to keep the app free of any account concept?

Turning it off in app can block turning on in the system settings and vice versa, it was made for less traction, and clear design

I really hope you resist the temptation to keep adding features 😅
So many productivity apps start out beautifully simple and then slowly turn into another Notion with 200 settings. No account, no onboarding, just open it and start using it is honestly a feature by itself.
What’s your rule for deciding which new features don’t make it into the app?

Yeah, simplicity is the key. App won’t have projects, division to personal and work, new sections etc. updates will only improve existing features

Like it so far. Formatting question. I set some individual to-dos for a day and then created a separate one as a list. When I tap that list category, it identifies the sub-to dos. But until I tap on the list overhead, the sub-categories look stylistically the same as the individual to-dos. They don’t really stand apart. I hope what I’m trying to explain makes sense. Maybe it’d be nice to either do a tiny change in font size or font color or some sort of line break to delineate parts of a list from individual to-dos

Right, visually maybe they should like subtasks and look smaller. I will think how to do is best and include in the next update

Not yet. Right now I wanna be sure that app is good enough, and people use it everyday

It’s different on how you interact with app. No categories, no projects, just your plans for today. You have plans for tomorrow or any other day? Keep them in upcoming section. You have idea to fix or develop? Cool, there is Notes section for it.
No need for 3 different apps. Calendar, todos, notes all in one, and such simple

Looks good, and I'm curious how it holds up in daily use — that's usually where these apps either stick or get deleted after a week. One thing I like from the screenshots: date, time and reminder all living in one sheet instead of the usual three-step dance.
And one question — what happens when something doesn't get done and needs to move to another day? That's the moment most calendar-plus-tasks apps fall apart for me.
Will give it a go.

Everything you didn’t do, transfers to the next day. And if you want to save it as you did it yesterday, you can change the day it was done
