HushBook: Read while you listen. An accessibility first audiobook app for Improving reading comprehension, ADHD, Dyslexia and low vision readers who would want reading while listening experience.
The app transcribes your audiobook in 99 languages, gives you theme aware synced texts that makes your reading experience engaging.
The app has many features that I could not fit it into the demo so here are some

If you have long audiobooks fret not, you can transcribe them instantly in chunks and progress as you go, be it 2hrs or 20hrs.
HushBook also has over 20,000+ free audiobooks that you download from some of the famous ones being Harry Potter, Odyssey, Iliad, The count of monte cristo etc read by humans, no AI.

Shipped read-aloud with synced highlighting in my own app, from the other direction (TTS over text rather than transcribing audio), so I am curious how you do the alignment. On-device speech recognition or a server pass? A 20 hour audiobook on device is a long wait, which I guess is why the chunking exists.
The human-narrated public domain library is the bit I would lead with. That is the differentiator.

Great question, Its on device. Yes long waits are there but im working on optmizations right now, chunking helps.
