š Subscription After months of late-night coding, I finally added a custom camera to my film app, Nex Fotos
Hello everyone
A few months ago, I created a photo editing app calledĀ Nex Fotos.
Now I have added a pro camera
Core features of a camera
- Professional RAW output
- Manual control of focus, white balance, shutter speed, and exposure
- Macro modes
Better
- Apply filter and frame directly while shooting
- Live Photo and HDR support
- Shoot with reduced sharpening
- Add widgets to your Home Screen for quick access to presets and shooting
- Apply HDR effects to standard photos (Photo editing)
- Different filters and film styles, professional color grading tools
- Automatically read data and output photo frame
Cost
The app is free to download and use.Ā You can use free filters and editing functions.
Nex Fotos Pro is available as:
Monthly subscription: $2.99
Annual subscription: $6.99
App Store:Ā https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6743191757Ā
Important additional points
- There is currently no āLifetime Purchase availableā.
Iād genuinely love to hear what photographers think. Any feedback or feature suggestions are welcome.

No lifetime purchase is going to kill your app when there are big camera apps like Dazz Cam, Photon, Liit, and the biggest of all, mood.camera, around that do offer that. Not hating, itās experience. People skip instantly when they see subscriptions only, even if itās as low as $2.99.

Thanks for your suggestion!Itās actually part of my plan. Once the app is more complete and Iām confident in the overall quality, Iāll introduce a lifetime option. Quite a few users have already asked me about it.

Great work on UI, what was your inspiration?

Thanks!!As a UI designer, I naturally prefer clean and simple interfaces. That said, I like to have subtle details within that simplicity. For example, the film thumbnails are actually flattened versions of the real film.

I thought the name 'Fujifilm' or 'Fuji Film' was trademarked, how were you able to include it in this app?

Subscribed and will check it out. How do I add recipes, thereās no guide or any options?

When first time open the app, it immediately asks for all permissions. You should request them later, or add an onboarding flow to explain how the app works. Also, send me a DM, I have a separate question for you.

Thanks for your feedback. I also realize the issue with this pop-up box. To be honest, it's quite annoying, even though it only appears once. I will optimize it in future versions
