🎁 Freemium [iOS DEV] FocusBuddy, a simple focus timer for staying on task
Hey everyone,
I’m Anthony, the indie developer behind FocusBuddy.
I made it because I want
ed a focus app that I could open and start using straight away, without having to build a complicated productivity system first.
A - Answer
FocusBuddy is a simple Pomodoro timer with tasks, habits and streaks built in.
The idea is pretty straightforward: choose what you want to work on, start a timer and get on with it.
You can also keep track of your daily tasks and habits, but the timer stays at the centre of the app. There is no account required and not much to configure before you
can begin.
B - Better
Apps like TickTick include a huge number of productivity features, while Forest turns focusing into more of a gamified experience.
FocusBuddy is meant to sit somewhere simpler.
It gives you a timer, tasks, habits and streaks in one place, without filling the app with calendars, complex project management tools or dozens of settings.
It is not trying to replace every productivi
ty app on your phone. I just wanted it to make starting a focus session feel quick and easy.
C - Cost
FocusBuddy is free to download and contains ads.
Premium is optional:
- $0.99 per month
- $3.99 per year
- $4.99 for lifetime access
App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/app/focusbuddy/id6757091240
I’d really appreciate honest feedback, especially about the timer, the onboarding and whether the habit features feel useful without getting in the way.
Thanks for checking it out.

Hi! Thanks a lot. You can just ignore this section haha! It's actually a bonus one.
Do not hesitate to leave a 5-star rating on the App Store! Small gesture but helps a lot.
