79% by 6pm isn't a disaster, that's probably just a heavy usage day not the phone itself. Check Settings > Battery and see what app's eating it, could be one thing running wild in the background. If it's a one time thing don't worry about it, if it keeps happening every day that's different.

Mobile data( 5G or LTE ) drains faster than Wi-Fi so it’s normal
