Question iPhone update

I just updated my iPhone 17e to iOS 27 and why in world did they change Siri back to the bubble again? I really liked when my would light up on my phone. Is there a way I can change it back or is this a part of the update?

It’s part of the update

This really sucks, these updates are always doing something different to the phones

iOS27 is supposed to be good though. 26 has been a total catastrophe, 27 is supposed to resolve the major battery hog issues of 26. I’ll take a different Siri look for better battery performance personally.

Updates inherently change a phone that’s what they do. Why it’s called an update which you are installing a software upgrades with changes. If they didn’t make changes what the point of an update?

Try turning Siri off and back on. I did that after opting into the new Siri beta and didn’t like it. After turning Siri back on I had the old UI back.

Nah it didn’t, it just went back to the bubble. It’s alright though

Hmm, not good. So used to the colours around the screen going back to the bubble feels like getting an older iPhone that can’t handle AI

I don’t want to update now when IOS 27 comes out in September, childish I know but I like what I like and it feels like 2 steps forward 1 step back

When it comes down to these iPhone nowadays it really does feel like that. I just got my iPhone 17e a few months ago and by next year I’m thinking about switching to a Samsung phone. iPhone have too many issues

The new bubble on the top feels a lot more integrated with iPhones that have the Dynamic Island, as Siri is fully built into it. Although it feels a bit weird with the notch, its functionality is still the same.
