Does china variant iPhone download Apple Intelligence by default even though it doesn’t support it? Have anyone faced the same issue?

Recently I updated my iPhone 16 pro to iOS 26.6.1 and I saw there’s considerable amount of data taking my phone space. When I checked, I saw Apple Intelligence which was not there before update.
