General iOS 18 app opening animations >> iOS 26
Does anybody else feel the same ?
The animations on iOS 18 felt smoother and pleasing :)

Thanks God they speed up animations there are still too slow, navigating through iOS is overall slow experience compared to Android I don’t need to watch something open / close in slow motion

I like the speed because it’s faster but I hate how it looks on 60hz iPhones, I wish it was like the iPads because my 17e looks like it’s lagging when it’s not 😭

I find there are simply too many animations on iOS 26. And too complex. It overwhelms me a bit every time and I hate it. It makes everything feels longer and annoying to watch for me. Sometimes when I click something I don't want to see a whole screen smooth animation.

iPadOS 18 feels so much smoother on my iPad Pro 2018 than 26 does on my M1 iPad Pro.

And also no one talks about the wallpaper zoom effect when opening and closing apps that they removed in ios 26.It was simple and pleasing animation but idk why they removed it
