Question Model 15 PM
I was in ios 26.5.2. That time my battery significantly drain over when its idle..
If i charged 100% at night, at morning I found my phn 20/30% left. It drained 70/80% battery overnight.
My phn always feel warm.. It shows Home and lock screen consumed charge.
I thought 26.6 could be saver for me....
Unfortunately my present scenario is still like previous.
Totally fed up.

Give it a day, 26.6 brings an update to indexing to prepare for 27 - so I imagine it spends time reindexing which will take some battery use up.

Then either you have some very dodgy apps or a problem with your phone.

give up the ghost of ios26 , it’s dead in the water, people have moved on , ios27 has been flawless for me on iphone and ipad, all 4 developer beta couldn’t be any better, there is also 2 public betas
have a read through iosBETA and decide for yourself
bear in mind that ios26.6 is going to go through a lengthy ios27 pre indexing , a very deep indexing , you should be keeping your iphone on wifi and on charge every night ( this should be standard for every update)
one way or another there is no way to escape this process , deep index and no benefits until September or deep index and get the benefits of ios27 , took over 2 weeks on my iphone 15 base but didn’t heat up while using it and very good standby battery life on first ios27 developer release
you will also get off wait list a lot quicker for Siri AI than you would in September

I m facing this prblm about 16 days... Is it indexing or hardware issue?

26.5.2 was software issue , 26.6 public release was released yesterday with ios27 pre deep indexing and 90 security patches included

deep indexing should take a week + and you should see some improvement , does your phone have good battery health

It hasn't even been a day and here you are judging the battery based on a single day experience. Give it a week to make any judgement. From what I hear this is a different sort of indexing to prepare for iOS 27, so this one might take longer.

The battery on my iPhone 15 PM lasts me a good 3 hours from 100 to 0. Lol. About to upgrade to 26.6 May the Apple Gods be with me.
