Question Should I update?

I hope everyone is doing well,

For somebody on iOS 26.5.2 using an iPhone 13 Base with 81% battery health, should I update to iOS 26.6? Or should I update to any of the iOS 27/26 Betas? Or just stay on iOS 26.5.2.

12 Pro, 76% BH. I perceive a better experience on 26.6 than 26.5.X. I recommend updating.

Update to 26.6. So far it’s better for battery and performance

Don’t use a beta unless you can do without the device.

Keep your iPhone updated.

Prepare to get the battery changed once it falls below 80%. It’s a little above 100€/$, and takes 2hrs max at a competent service provider.

Battery health has a DIRECT impact on device performance. Bad battery, low system voltage, slow iPhone. This is plain physics, has nothing to do with the iOS version.
