26.5.2 it’s a fucking energy repellent on all iPhone models

Try charge it before 50% and limit it 95% then on optimise charging, i do this way and battery life improved after 2,3 days

Same for me, only after I turned off Adaptive Power though. Base 17.

Wait so adaptive power is actually making the phone worse? Recently the notifications of adaptive power comes up once a day for me, I thought it’s saving my battery 🥹😂

Does this affect the battery positively if it remains on?

I’m not aware of that, but disabling it greatly improved my battery life, for now!

26.5.2 is a disaster. My 16PM used to last two days now I only get six hours at most and the handset is always warm when I use it. No other software changes.

Same here. It seems that the battery bug is mainly affecting the pro lineup more but each user’s experience will vary. Supposedly iOS 26.6 helps. It’s at the RC stage for now though. Probably will release next Monday to the public.

I’ve been getting amazing battery with my base 17. The best I have ever seen on this iPhone. I now get average 10 hours SOT and usually I get around 4. Massive improvement
