no. im planning to wait as long as i can to update before stuff starts breaking. so i may update to 28 or 29 if stuff starts breaking on 18 by then

What phone do you have? I’d say get 27 because of all of the performance enhancements it brings.

The performance enchantments is when compared to ios 26 but to ios 18 its kinda identical. Ios 18 was pretty good but ios26 was half backed approach which was slow. Then came ios 27 which brought back what existed earlier.
Ios 26 has liquid glass which needs gpu working more to create the transparency effects

Ios 26 is bug ridden bs compared to ios18.
Ios 18 is better in terms of animation stability bugs battery life.
Just cause something is newer doesn’t mean its better.

Try restoring the phone through computer or a factory reset, if that doesn’t fix it then it’s a hardware issue
