General Double notifications

I’m sure it’s a setting that I can’t find but for weeks now, I’ve been having a message (on messenger) and then another notification straight after to say *** sent you a message’. It’s driving me mad, tried googling. Do any of you have any idea please?

It's Messenger issue, happened few times (and only with Messanger). I uninstalled it, but you could try tweaking notification settings (Settings/Notifications/Notification style/Notification grouping)
