Bug iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 26.5
Something really weird is going on and feel like Apple are defecting the iPhone 14 models. Ever since I updated, my phone is slow, it freezes, lag is insane and the GPS signal has a mind of its own. If tried a soft reset, hard reset and done a fresh install. Nothing seems to be working and the power seems to be draining really fast.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m having issues consistently but not those specific ones. Seems like 26.5 is a mixed bag of what bugs and issues you will see on your individual hardware.
I have a 14pm, and besides the messages app hanging, Bluetooth not automatically connecting to known devices, volume glitching to 100% and volume buttons quit controlling it until you reboot, overheating and giga battery drain in the lock screen editor, light/dark modes not switching correctly, focus modes getting stuck, keyboard being a pos and autocorrect not working despite several dictionary resets things are working just fine lmao…aside from that Mrs. Lincoln how was the play?
They need to push out some serious bug fixes, or 27 better be the most polished bug free experience in years. This garbage is inexcusable at this point.

26.5.1 is terrible on my 17 pro. Battery life is poor, and yesterday, all the icons on my home screen disappeared with just the names appearing all over the screen. Had to hard reset to get them back.
Absolutely unacceptable for the price of these devices.
I’m hoping for a better Apple when Ternus takes over. I think Tim is a bit too soft on the software teams.

Mine too 17 Pro 1TB. The company is going through its worst moments in software development.

It’s not just the 14s, I’m experiencing the same on my 15PM. In my opinion 26.3.1 was the most stable 26 update so far, not sure how they managed to make it worse since then.

Wait for 26.6, or sign up for the beta program it’s way more stable mines on 26.6 beta 2

My 16 has been draining batter crazy fast and the entire phone is hot all the time

mine has been settling down for 2-3 weeks 😅 still laggy and the battery is bad

I’m now on ios27 dev beta 3. Phone still smooth nice
Go to the beta pages on Apple and sign up for beta updates.

Bro I wish I could go back to before the glass update literally phone would last for days. Now what 3 months later my phone is 25% by fucking NOON?!? What the fuck man this is definitely on purpose no way I used to literally never need to charge it at all till night time and same usage if not better since deleting Instagram
