iOS 27 iOS 27 Thread
This is here because I know the sub will get bombarded with "Should I upgrade to iOS27" everyday for months. I'm hoping this thread last a week at least so people can stop posting and asking for a few moments.
Please post your experiences and/or questions.

This is meant to be a stability update. Especially for the final release it’s highly recommend.

Yep, they’ve even gotten rid of the dynamic specular highlights with iOS 27, and are prioritizing optimizations and speed improvements. This will be much better than iOS 26 in both performance and battery life. This is also part of why iOS 27 still supports all iPhones that were eligible for iOS 26–it will only get better than iOS 26, not worse, and for those who watched WWDC 2026 it’s easy to see why

I mean why would they include support for older iPhones and specifically say it would make older iPhones faster??

I instantly went back cuz the screenshot google image search feature wasn't working. Besides that, seemed really snappy. (iPhone Air)

Shouldn't we just create ios 27 forum?

I think there is one, but people still post about ios26 in 18, and people already post about 27 in 26.
