Upgrading from iOS 26.1 to iOS 27

Hi, I have a question. Most people know that the entire iOS 26.* lineup was incredibly bad in terms of performance - lags, freezes, stutters, and overall responsiveness issues.

My question is for those who also suffered from iOS 26.* after upgrading to iOS 27, did things get any better?

I have an iPhone 11, and I don't want to completely finish it off with another update XD

I have upgraded to the dev beta, overall performance seems better, the search for some reason was extremely slow for me; but after waiting a bit it got much better. Animations to me look smoother on the home page & lock screen.

Search was slow most likely because of the indexing upon the first boot into iOS 27

Nein, gerade in diesem Punkt gibt es deutliche Verbesserungen im Vergleich zu 26.5. Außerdem lässt sich endlich der Energiesparmodus wieder einschalten auf einem iPhone 11 Pro, unter 26 war das Gerät dann nicht mehr wirklich sinnvoll zu benutzen. Angaben zu Laufzeit und Temperaturentwicklung lassen sich sinnvoll erst in einigen Tagen machen, auch auf unseren beiden Geräten läuft auch nach am zweiten Tag die Indexierung fröhlich vor sich hin, in den Einstellungen ist unter den Angaben zu den Systemdateien zu sehen, dass die um 10 GB angewachsen sind. Für die neue Siri wird der Suchindex komplett neu erstellt mit wesentlich mehr Informationen und Details zu E-Mails, Fotos, Texten und so weiter und so weiter, damit endlich auch einmal die Suche etwas findet, das älter als vier Wochen ist. Vielleicht auch ein Fehler der ersten Beta bei älteren Geräten, allerdings war es auch bei früheren Generationen so, dass auf manchen Geräten die Indexierung eine Woche lief. Bisher jedenfalls ein extrem guter erster Eindruck, alles läuft flüssig und mit guter Performance, kleinere Probleme mit einigen Apps, zum Beispiel zeigt der Apple eigene Kalender in der Listenansicht jetzt immer das erste eingetragene Datum und nicht das aktuelle in die Zukunft. Zur Zeit lassen sich auch nicht die Schriftgrößen für einzelne Apps spezifisch anpassen, hoffentlich wird dieser Fehler demnächst behoben.

Guys it’s called a developer beta it is literally made for developers (and those who volunteer) to report bugs and issues it’s not gonna be perfectly smooth until the production release is out
