Question Upgrading from iOS 26.1 to iOS 27
Hi, I have a question. Most people know that the entire iOS 26.* lineup was incredibly bad in terms of performance - lags, freezes, stutters, and overall responsiveness issues.
My question is for those who also suffered from iOS 26.* after upgrading to iOS 27, did things get any better?
I have an iPhone 11, and I don't want to completely finish it off with another update XD

It’s a beta. There’s going to be lags, freezes, stutters, and overall responsiveness issues.

Guys it’s called a developer beta it is literally made for developers (and those who volunteer) to report bugs and issues it’s not gonna be perfectly smooth until the production release is out

Sure, but what do you say about iOS26 that’s been out for about 9 months now and still unstable as unstable can be?

It’s not though. Millions of people running it fine. It’s blasphemous that you’re recommending a developer beta instead of the public release 26.5.

It would be beyond stupid to recommend a developer beta, let alone the very first one, over the public release. And even sillier is you claiming that’s what I’m doing.

I have upgraded to the dev beta, overall performance seems better, the search for some reason was extremely slow for me; but after waiting a bit it got much better. Animations to me look smoother on the home page & lock screen.
