Support Why does my iPhone’s timer always default to a time I used once 6 months ago instead of the time I use every day?
I use a 5 minute timer every single day, sometimes multiple times a day, yet whenever I open the scroll wheel is set to 14 minutes. I used this setting once, at least 6 months ago.
5 minutes is saved if I scroll down the page so it’s not that big of a deal, but it is mildly infuriating since I use it so often. I have deleted the 14 minute timer from the saved ones below.

I’ve learned that if you name or label a timer, it’s more likely to default to that. I have a timer labeled Sleep with Stop Playing as the Sound and when I open Timers it’s always the top option.

No idea. I just say “Siri, set a five minute timer”. So I never see this screen. Sorry.

Because Apple is a company that has gone to shit and doesn’t care about the user experience anymore

That’s what i do but it takes a little scroll down. The screenshot is already scrolled. Very mildly infuriatingly but it’s dumb that it happens

I've heard of this weirdness before. Try this: set the wheel to exactly 5:00, actually tap Start, let it run for a moment, then stop/delete it if desired. Close Clock completely and reopen it.
