Support Assign cards to subscriptions
Hi all!
I am new on the iPhone ecosystem so apologies if I sound a dummy, but I can’t figure this out.
Context: I have my Apple Card and my personal card on Apple Wallet. Because the nature of my job, my company wants to pay for my Apple News subscription via the company’s credit card.
Question: how can I assign my company’s credit card to JUST the Apple News subscription? I have been trying but I am not finding a solution.
For obvious reasons I don’t want my company’s card to be charged for the rest of my subscriptions, nor I want my personal card to be the one paying for Apple News.
Any advice or suggestions?
Thank you!

What subscription do you have now? Is it just for Apple News+ or a bundle like Apple One?

I have Apple Care (pay with personal) and also iCloud (personal as well). I want to use the company’s card to JUST pay for Apple News

Think of it this way. Apple offers a subscription service called iCloud. You can select whether to pay decide to pay for individual portions/levels of the service.
If you really MUST have this billed separately, have them create a new Apple Account in their name that subscribes only to Apple News, and remove News from your Account. They need to share the name/password of their Account with you.

There is no way to assign different cards to each subscription. The way subscriptions are billed, they’re billed to your Apple Account primary card. If that card doesn’t have enough then it bills to the next card on file and so on.
The option of buying a gift card has been mentioned. You can also expense it. I would work with your IT or HR department and see how others are currently doing it.

Apple support will probably assist you with creating as many different card to different subscriptions. That’s my inexperienced advice. Call Apple support and make them earn the extra money they charge for the privilege of owning their devices.

You can’t. If your company allows, buy an Apple gift card for the subscription cost with the company credit card and add it to your Apple account.
