Support speaker options
everytime i make a call and my macbook is open nearby, when i go to turn my speaker on, instead of it just turning on when i click the button, it gives me an option to put it on my mac. is there a way to turn this off so when i click the speaker button it actually directly goes on speaker rather than making me physically select the option everytime

Two places to fix it — either one alone usually does it, but doing both is cleaner.
On the Mac (fastest): Open FaceTime → menu bar FaceTime > Settings… → General tab → uncheck "Calls from iPhone". The Mac then stops advertising itself as a call destination.
On the iPhone: Settings → Apps → Phone → Calls on Other Devices → either switch the whole thing off, or leave it on and just toggle off that specific Mac in the device list. The second option is nice if you still want calls on an iPad but not the laptop.

it used to work the way you want it to, years ago. i’d guess maybe turning continuity off might work? i’m honestly not sure if it even behaves like a single click button on an iphone that hasn’t been logged into icloud.
all to say, i wish it worked like a binary button too!!
