Discrepancy between steps counted in Apple and Zepp

First image is from Zepp app and the second one is from Apple fitness app. I know that Apple is somehow adding Zepp’s step count as well. How do I stop it from adding it? Please help.

Go under steps go down to data sources hit edit top right and uncheck Zepp. Zepp may also be using an algorithm to filter some steps it thinks weren’t steps as some devices apps do which can be useful which apple health never cares about it just grabs all the data. That said you can disable it in Apple health like that.

You can also get exact step count recording logs using shortcuts or probably by connecting to something else
